• This package is a true advancement high power rocketry.
• It uses an on board video camera and transmitter that relays real time Video back to the ground. This data can even be displayed on the receiving screen.
• It uses an onboard computer that records vital flight information. Drogue and Main Chute deployments are standard equipment.
• DTMF signal capabilities allow the user to send radio signals to the rocket that are tied to fire circuits. The back up capabilities and or executable options makes this a very unique option not found in any rocket system.

OVERVIEW OF VIDEO TELEMETRY PACKAGE

DR ROCKET’S™ VIDEO TELEMETRY PAYLOAD

Dr Rocket Inc. opens a new door for the high power rocket enthusiast. We have developed a nose cone video telemetry computer package. The basic system includes

1. A color board video camera with NTSC out-put user to determine viewing plane.
2. An on board computer that is capable of recording velocity, acceleration and temperature in a memory module and also displaying that same data on the video screen as an overlay.
3. With a DELTA transmitter and one audio channel and HPA the video picture with its data is transmitted back to a receiving station. The Whole flight and its data can be recorded on videotape. You will have to have HAM licenses to operate the transmitter. The above includes a one year membership to HATS.
4. This system will also include a programmable Flight timer /Actuator. This will be tied to a fire circuit to allow for a back up deployment charge or any other timed event.
5. The system will also include an on board radio controlled link tied to a fire circuit. This will allow the user to enter a DTMF code on a transmitting device (currently a 2M receiver) that will control an onboard function such as drogue or main chute back up deployment.

Note: All Items will be available early spring.
